Three-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis of Different Connector Designs for All-Ceramic Implant-Supported Fixed Dental Prostheses

چکیده

All-ceramic fixed dental prostheses (FDPs) tend to fracture at the connector regions due high stress concentration these areas influenced by their design. This study was performed as an adjunct existing clinical evaluate influence of different radii curvature gingival embrasure on distribution a three-unit all-ceramic implanted supported FDP. Three three-dimensional (3D) models were created scanning two titanium implants, suitable zirconia abutments, and patient-retrieved prosthesis using micro-CT scanner. The radius for distal FDP altered measure 0.25 mm, 0.50 0.75 mm. A finite element analysis (FEA) software (ABAQUS) used impact designs stresses. Maximum Principal Stress data collected from individual components (veneer, framework, abutments). had significant assessed components. tensile peak stresses all structures highest in mm model, while presented similar values more uniform distribution.

Three-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis of Anterior Single Implant-Supported Prostheses with Different Bone Anchorages

The aim of this study was to evaluate the stress distribution of monocortical and bicortical implant placement of external hexagon connection in the anterior region of the maxilla by 3D finite element analysis (FEA). 3D models were simulated to represent a bone block of anterior region of the maxilla containing an implant (4.0 × 10.0 mm) and an implant-supported cemented metalloceramic crown of...

Three-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis of Anterior Two-Unit Cantilever Resin-Bonded Fixed Dental Prostheses

The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of different framework materials on biomechanical behaviour of anterior two-unit cantilever resin-bonded fixed dental prostheses (RBFDPs). A three-dimensional finite element model of a two-unit cantilever RBFDP replacing a maxillary lateral incisor was created. Five framework materials were evaluated: direct fibre-reinforced composite (FRC-Z25...

Influence of three different implant thread designs on stress distribution: A three-dimensional finite element analysis

PURPOSE Clinical success of implant prosthodontics is dependent in part upon the type of implant thread design. The selection of implant thread design plays an important role in the outcome of the treatment. This study was undertaken to evaluate the pattern of stress distribution using a finite element analysis; hence, the area which would be bearing maximum load for a given design would be arr...

Comparative study of 12 thread shapes of dental implant designs: a three-dimensional finite element analysis

The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal thread shape for an experimental cylinder implant. Twelve three-dimensional finite element models with an implant of different thread shape were created: 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm square designs (S-1, S-2, and S-3); 90, 60, and 30 V-shaped designs (V-1, V-2, and V-3); 45, 30, and 15 buttress designs (B-1, B-2, and B-3); 45, 30, and 15 reverse buttr...
